Let’s see.. I’m an Architect, a Photographer & a Musician.

• Architect. I’ve finished my 5-year study of Architecture at Bulacan State University (Malolos, Bulacan Philippines) Worked for some couple of local companies as an MEP draftsman, Architectural Draftsman, Architectural Designer, Outsource Team Lead, etc. Before heading abroad to try to expand my experience and knowledge. But before that, i was trained by my father to do some things to help him with his hobby. (His hobby was carpentry… yeah, i bet there’s no one in the Philippines with the same hobby as my father.) Well, It’s not really just Carpentry, but a lot of things as well. (Masonry, wood carving, and even landscaping.)  I passed the PRC-ALE (Professional Regulation Commission – Architecture Licensure Examination) on January 2009.  But I can’t be called an architect just yet… Until I’ve finished creating my own house. Currently employed in Qatar as a BIM Coordinator / Modeler / Teacher… (Yes, because we’re just 3 people doing the model of a BIIIIIG project. and the consultants don’t know revit. Aaarrggghhh!!! We have to make the design changes, the proposals as well even though we’re a contracting company.) I’ve been doing Revit since December 2008. But i also do 3Ds Max Visualization, sketchup, photoshop, etc. as a hobby as well.

• Photographer.  During high school / college days, I was the one holding the camera whenever there’s an occasion. I feel more comfortable not smiling at the camera but taking the shot instead. (so that explains my lack of photos during school days.) But my shots back then were not that interesting. (mostly typical group shots, etc.) Until I’ve met some of my colleagues, which were all photography addicts. I tried taking shots again but this time with the artistic intent. Holding my Olympus E520, I was hooked instantly on taking photos. I shoot mostly landscape & street photography. (well, i’m not quite good at commanding models to pose for my sake.) But my ultimate wish is to have a wedding photo shoot opportunity, (pre-nuptial shoot, actual wedding coverage) and cosplay photography as well. I’m now using Nikon D7000 and some bunch of gears all inclined to landscape photography… (I have a telephoto lens but i used that mainly to took tennis gir… er… players photos.)

• Musician. I started playing the piano when i was in Grade 4 (10 yrs. old). Back then, i’m having a hard time reading the notes. Thus, thanks to my aunt, She did introduced me to playing it by ear. (some people call it widow).  Thus started my new interest in music. After that, I’ve learned the guitar, the flute, the harmonica, base guitar, and the violin… but (i give up playing violin since i have a huge hand and it’s not my thing.) When it comes to genre, I have a wide range of genre that i like. From Vivaldi, to Eric Clapton, to Queen, to Eminem, to Disturbed.
